If you are running halides before the switch and the LEDs are higher up it won't burn the corals. I ran everything at 100 percent before. Just reduce your photoperiod until it comes.
Yea the addition of uv and violet. I'll leave it at 20% that way they acclimate for a week with all the new spectrum hope everything looks better from this point on along with the salt change that made a impact changed to much to fast over to the new stuff.
Btw, the fixtures turn on and off using the wireless control but I still assign an apex energy bar outlet to turn them completely on or off. The outlet turns on at 10am and the awm instructs the lights to turn on at 10:01. The awm instructs the lights to turn off at 9pm and the outlet turns off at 9:01pm. It is just an added assurance that the lights will absolutely turn off just in case the awm fails to do so. The modules are still recognized by the awm even with a complete shut off of the power supply. I reduce the reds and green to 5 percent and adjust the whites accordingly.
You have to name and create separate profiles for every situation. I use 3 different settings. Moonlight would probably have all LEDs at 0 percent except blue at 5 percent intensity. I don't ramp up or down. I start with all LEDs on at 100 percent for 5 hours then use a profile with the whites at 70 percent and red green at 50 percent for 3 hours then whites at 50 with red green at 5 percent.
