LF: Berghia Nudibranch

I have been battling colonial hydroids in my tank for a long time now. Nothing seems to eat them. Want to try and see whether Berghia Nudibranch will eat them.

I successfully used Berghia to eradicate aiptasia, but didn't have a hydroid problem, so I can't help there.

I will suggest, however, that if you get berghia, get at least a few and breed them in a 10 gallon tank. It is simple to do, but will take a few weeks for them to reproduce.

Also, be aware that certain fish (especially wrasses) will eat the berghia.

Are there many rocks that are infested? Can you remove the infested rocks and clean them?

I've never seen them in a shop. There's a woman in Utah that breeds them. I'll email her address to you.

BUT... It looks like you have algae as well. If you have high organics, they very well might come back. Do you think your water is 'dirty' (i.e, high organics)? Is your skimmer sized correctly? Is it any good? Is it pulling anything out of the water? Are you current on water changes?

paul_111, This pic is not from my tank. I got it off the net. My tank has near zero organic levels. The problem is that these things are like corals. They feed of the lights.
