Lf old 250w de mh bulbs

I'd like to check out the color of some bulbs on my new fixture before I go spending a couple hundred bucks on bulbs. If anyone has old bulbs that are your going to toss out lemme know,thanks

The bulbs came with the fixture. It says theyre 15k,although they have more of a 10k look to me. I'm going to give them the 2 week break in period to see if they change any before I buy different ones but I think Im not going to be happy with these unless they turn a more blue/white.

The color dictates that I wont be,unless the spectrum really goes blue in the next week or two. If it changes substantially then I would be happy not to spend the cash on three new bulbs.

I've seen good reviews on the Phoenix 14k and XM 20k DE. I run 20k SE Radiums and live the color so maybe something towards the 20k would work for you.

The brand I have now is Odyssea and yes this is my first MH fixture. I ran T5s for a little bit in the beginning then moved to LEDs.

Ive also heard good things about the Phoenix 14k. Havent heard too much about the XM bulbs but will check into them for sure.

I do think I will like something around 20k as well. Yours definitely looks great!

I run a radium 250 SE and really like the color. I think my temp is like 14k-20kish, I do love the color.

The bulb in the left side of my frag tank is an xm 20k.
