I dunno if you got a vertex yet but if you still have your bubble magus I'd consider this instead. Vertex are nice but hard to clean and are a pain to dial in. My vertex 130 and 150 bubbled over like crazy. Id suggest this if it's in your budget. Make your bubble magus a dc controlled skimmer. I have a coralbox skimmer and it's awsome. I just ordered a bubble magus curve 7 to replace this 3.5..."¦.so I will be putting this one up for sale soon......I know it may sound like overkill for my 40gal but oh well!! lol.....I got it on ebay for 160 new in the box with shipping...super deal
