light acclimation??

What are some of the different ways you guys use to acclimate your corals to yur lights? I melted and/or bleached three frags now. One was a cali blue tort. It is ****ing me off. I am sure the 400watt 10kxm's are a little strong. lol I just had killing corals. Thanks for any help, Dan

1st off loosing corals is nothing to laugh about.

do a search for "light acclimation" and my name (Lunchbucket) in the SPS forum or else where. you should find plenty of info.

the window screen method is best and easiest

Thank you for the advice, but I was not laughing because the corals died. I take this hobby seriously, so do not judge me if I wrote lol in there.
