Light advice

i have a 240 that is being lit by 4x250 MH bulbs. It is a mix between 2 hamilton 14K one 10K ushio and a 15K xm.

I am pretty happy with the lighting however with a 30 " deep tank the lower coral is not getting much light any my zoos are browning out a little.

New plan. I am going to run 2 x 250W hamilton 14K and then 2 x 250w Ushio 10K for my normal daytime lights. I am also going to add 2x400W xm20K bulbs. These 400W lights will only run for a few hours a day just to up the par across the day.

Strange Idea I know but I am looking for input.

just swithc to 3x400w in some good reflectors like lumenarcs. shouldnt have any problem that way. i just picked up a helios 20k 400w bulbs and icecap elec ballast. really like the color in the tank. will post a picture later today of it.
