Light Fixture Glass cleaning

Hello all,

The glass on my light fixture seems to have salt encrusted onto it. I've tried glass cleaner and soap to remove it but no luck. Any ideas on how to or what to use to remove heavy salt off of the glass?

distilled white vinegar is the ultimate all purpose cleaner in this hobby

other people on here may have a problem with this but so far it's working for me with no problems....once you get the salt creep removed from your fixture get some rain x wipes and wipe down your cover. you'll still get some salt creep but it comes off very easy.

I've never had a prob. with this happening. I would say wait till the light has been off for awhile, then take a soft rag and try a little vinegar or hot water and just try to get it off. This should do the trick. Good Luck....
