Light on or off in the night?

Folk,

I am just wondering if you leave your blue moon LED light on in the night? Or you just turn off all the light and make the tank totally dark? I found that my chromia got crazy eveythime I turn off all the light.

Leave the moon light on--that's what they're for!

I use moonlights but they are on a timer to switch off for a few hours in the middle on the night to give the tank total darkness, I have found that some corals only fully extend their feeding tentacles when everything is dark.
