Am I better off with 2*32 watts pc's over a tank that is 21" deep, or 2*55 watt pc's over a tank that is 26" deep? Or is it pretty much the same?
I do not plan on keeping sps, even at the top they will probably brown on me.

using the old rule of thumb that states 4 watts per gallon is the standard I would think you would be better off with 2 x 55 over a 26" deep tank

Have 2 x 55W over 24" deep 90g, very low light, but sufficient for keeping the tolerant corals in the upper half. If your tank is twice narrower - it's more watts per linear foot of depth, better.

Its a toss up. That watts per gallon rule isnt that great so i wouldnt bother using that. Both heights are a lot for just pc's. I personally dont think pc's are that great once you get up to like 15 inches or so cuz i've used them on several tanks now and every time regret doing so :)

Is the tank long enough for T5's? The shortest t5 is 24" with endcaps.
