I removed the stock lights and cover from my biocube and bought LED ViparSpectra on Amazon and I like the way it makes everything look better.

I will!!!! Unless you have a tank that's 150+ gallons bigger than the one in your pictures, you need to find it a new home pretty quickly. Otherwise, we Tang Police will get a search warrant and kick down your door, lol (I'm laughing, but I'm very serious that the blue tang needs a much, much bigger aquarium).

I know it's not what you want to hear, but the others are right. Tangs like to swim a lot, but not in circles. Think of the fish and get one more suitable for the 14 gallon. I have a 14 gallon and I would never ever consider putting a tang in there. Below I copied and pasted from 2 different sites info for the blue tang.

"a tank of approximately 120 gallons should be considered the minimum size"
"Minimum Tank Size: 180 gallons" from Foster and Smith

Just ditch the the tang. I had one in a 14. Would never do that again. On a side note, seems like the TP has been quiet lately. Maybe it's just the thread and forums I frequent. When I first started they were everywhere!

A lot of us TP have given up. You can only say so much. By the time he sees it stressed out, 99.9% of the time, it's too late. Maybe I'll wear a Tang Police shirt to the meeting. I still have one. I'm about to set up a 48" x 30" footprint tank and a blue tang, still my favorite fish ever, will not be going in there. I haven't made that mistake in 20 years, and that was on a 55g...and it was more than once. Finding Dori coming out this winter absolutely terrifies me!
