So I am probably goig to be starting a 36" rectangle Mr. aqua nano in the next few weeks and was thinking about lighting. I'm going with this tank so I can use a 36" t5 fixture. I am probabbly going to go with zeovit and a decent sized sump for water volume, maybe up to 25g for total volume 30-40g. The dimensions of this tank are 36x8.5x9.5. With only 8.5" width I know 2 bulbs will be enough but I kind of like the option of only turning on the actinics at times, and hence a 4 bulb would be best for that. Woud I be burning the corals rediculously with a 4 bulb kit? I was planing on useing a kz purple, a 12-15k, and geismans of some kind and probably about 4-5" off the water. The fixture would be the aquatic life brand so the built in timer and leds is nice but it is 10", 1.5" wider than the tank. I could also do a 17g nano, 24x12x14, and definitly go with the 4 bulb. what do you all think about the lighting?
Thanks
