Lighting and Type if possible

I have T5 lighting on a 40 pillar tank and I was wondering if that was enough for a SPS. I want one that will grow fairly rapidly so It fills the tank. I have LR that only goes up 1/3 of the way with some mushrooms and the top 2/3 is empty. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Doesn't sound good, but we need more data on the brand of light fixture, brand of bulbs, height of the tank, etc.

My bet is you need more light though.

What are the dimensions on the pillar? I don't think the two bulbs will work for SPS. If it's a really high tank, you're going to need MH, LED, or a lot of T5 bulbs.

Its a real tall tank. I changed it out with a coral life holagen light. Will this be good enough or not? Is it just the fact that its so tall thats not a good idea. Should have I went with a cube rather than a pillar?
