lighting differences?

Just wondering what the difference in lighting is between 10k and 12k t5's. I have an oppurtunity to get a t5 fixture with two 12k and two actinic bulbs for a good price. Is there a big difference between the 10k and 12k? Is one better for certain applications or is one just better than the other?

Just different spectrums. The 12K will be slightly bluer and possibly a little less PAR.
