Lighting for 65 gallon mixed reef

I am considering upgrading my current lighting on my 65 gallon reef. I am running 4 t5's and am considering switching to MH. Any suggestions on what would be good for a mixed reef with mostly sps. I was thinking about 1 250W MH in the center. Would this be enough light?

Thanks,
Chris

If it is a standard 65 gallon with the brace in the middle, I would stay away from the simgle MH because it will be right over the brace. I would look at a 2x 150 watt with t5's for that tank.

I would go with 2 bulbs. I have a 58 (( same footprint just not as tall )) and I have 2*250s over it (( mine is mainly an SPS tank )). I personally wouldn't like just one, the corners would be too dark. Since you are going with a mixed reef, 150 DE or 175 SE should work nicely.

Here is my 65g with a single 250DE MH if it helps.
