lighting for a 29g tank

Yes but be careful with SPS because it really doesn't have individual reflectors so the intensity should be weaker than if it had the "real deal" but you should be good
 
what kind of hard corals? It's a decent setup, but I'm not convinced it's going to keep high light demanding hard corals.

When it came out i was never convinced :p but for the price it is a decent fixture and should be able to keep some low light SPS like caps
