lighting for a 29g tank

would a Sundial T5 30" 4x24W be good for a 29g tank with mostly soft corals and some hard?

Yes but be careful with SPS because it really doesn't have individual reflectors so the intensity should be weaker than if it had the "real deal" but you should be good

what kind of hard corals? It's a decent setup, but I'm not convinced it's going to keep high light demanding hard corals.

When it came out i was never convinced but for the price it is a decent fixture and should be able to keep some low light SPS like caps

well i only have zoa right now but i would like to get some brain coral or some acan later on
