Lighting for these type of Rics

This isn't my picture, but I bought a single ric today that is exactly the same as the above pic. Ricordia's differ a lot in what lighting they prefer, some prefer very bright lighting while others prefer moderate light, so my question is, where in my tank should I place this particular type of ricordia. I've got a 150-watt MH, so if it prefers highly lit areas, I'll place it relatively high in my tank, but if not, I'll keep it lower. Thanks for your help. Also, if it's still there, on Saturday, I'm going to pick up a blue Ricordia, very nice, but I didn't want to get them both at the same time.

Floridas adjust well to MH lighting. But don't place them high at first if thats where you feel you need to display them. They would be better off at the midlevels or the bottom of the tank for a permanent location under MH. Once you feel they are ready you can move them up. I recommend if you place them up near the top that you turn the tank lights off for a day every couple of weeks and or have some days with half duration photoperiods.

Thanks for your reply. Right now, I have it at the bottom in a cup with some rock rubble trying to get it to grab onto the rock, so going by what you said, he should adjust pretty well. The place that I have in mind for it, is low/mid level in my tank so it should suit it perfectly. I just wanted to make sure that I put it in the right place if it had very high lighting needs. Thanks a lot, you really helped!
