lighting needs for a derasa...

can someone tell me the lighting needs of a derasa clam? i have mine on the sandbed in a slightly shaded area. he seems to like it as I can see the foot attchached to a flat rock under...thanks.

1 x SE MH 400W 20K with T5's as supplemtals...

I think that the 20k is pushing it.6500 to 10k is the lighting range that clams live at in the wild,so I feel that is what we should provide for them in our home's

I have 220 Watt PC 10K and my Derasa is Doing Awesome and has put on some gowth since I have gotten it.
