I am new to the hobby and looking into purchasing a lighting system for my reef tank. I know that the lighting is extremely important but I am working with a budget and I would perfer not to spend too much! Please be easy on me lol. 29 gallon standard tank, Aqua Clear 50, running a 525 ghp powerhead. Currently have an occelaris clown, yellow tang which is going back now that Ive learned more about them, a pink spotted goby. The CUC is 6 hermits, 8 zombie snails, sand sifter star and a conch. Any suggestions on a cheap T5 or LED lighting system I could use? Ive found some on ebay but wanted some feedback before I bought anything. Also, any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I have the wave point t5 fixture works great... Only thing I dislike about it there is no moon settings... Just on and off... I also just added a current orbit led system... Try that... It's not that expensive and it does the job

Good deal, I will look into those. Thanks!

Best bang for your buck is either Aquaticlife t5 or a Reef Breeders photon.

You should consider rehoming the star. It will starve in a 29g.

+1 for the reefbreeders
I have the photon 48 over my 75 gal and all the corals have nice color.
