lighting output question

okay so when my power compacts on are, the aquarium looks okay, but when my 150watt 20k MH comes on, everything becomes like 2525 more vibrant , bright, and beautiful....

when i make the new L shaped tank, i dont want any MH... but how can i get the same look? do T5's give the same vibrant bright look? because i wouldnt be able to live with the PC look.

T5 are much brighter and intense than pc/ From the size of that tank, a single aquablue+ in a icecap reflector will give you a clean white light.

it could be also that your pc's are running 50/50 while the mh is running 20k (really blue) so things would look a lot more vibrant with the blue.
