I have a 12gal nano-cube with modded lighting. I have 75w of pc lighting over the tank. Would this be sufficient for any type of clam? I would really like to get one. Thanks for the help.
You could probably keep a squamosa in there. I had one in my first 12 Gal NC with stock lighting for over a year and it did great. Gave the whole setup to a friend when I moved and he says it's still doing fine.
a squamosa will outgrow a 12 gallon in no time. I think those lights might be OK over a 12 gallon, but I wouldnt recommend a clam in s smaller tank likie that. If you do it, watch your SG, Ca, Alk like a hawk. It will fluctate heavily on smaller tanks if not micromanaged.
