I currently have a 15 gal tank with live rock a three inch sand bed some corals and a pair of mandarins. I also have a tridacna squamosa that I have had in there for two years he has grown and is doing excellent. I currently have some homemade lighting on the tank. The lighting consists of two standard household 14W=60w mini PC bulbs two 15w 7100K actinic flourescent and two 50/50 36w PC. My question is will I be able to add a tridacna maxima under those lighting conditions? And if so at what level in the tank? The tank is 18" high and from the bed to the surface is 15". Lighting is also very close to the surface. Thanks!
