lighting?

i have 90 rr fowlr with coralife aqualight 2-65w 10,000k 2-65w attinic also automatic timer can anybody help and tell me best times to set lights.... thanks
 
This is going to depend on what you have/plan on keeping in the tank.

You will want to allow the tank at least 6 hours of "night" though, for photosynthesis to occur properly.


If you are only keeping fish.. it doesnt matter how long the light cycle is.
 
Havn't a clue on the best times to set them, what is your schedual like? :D

You'll want anywhere from an 8 hour cycle to 12 hour cycle. I do mine for a 10hr. But for this, I turn my Actinics on first, let them run an hour, then I put on the white lights and let them run for about 8 hours, then turn em off and leave the actinics on for another hour. Wa-la 10hr day/night cycle.
