There has only been one collected to my knowledge (maybe 2). It is currently with an experienced breeder who is trying to breed them. It was collected through the sea smart program out of papa new guinea.
my dad got me my first tank when i was 8...first fish i got was a maroon clown, got to big so i traded it for a percula clown and that died about a year and a half ago from ich.. i know what im doing with clownfish im just looking for a lightning maroon clown to put in my tank
Well keep looking. The lighting maroons sold for five figures and they have only Bren two collected, so the next one that comes out will fetch a hefty price

till date lightning maroon clown has been sighted only in PNJ.even if some other specimen are caught in future,in all likelihood, those will go to expert breeders;thus will not come up in open market...your best hope is to wait for tank breed specimen(if it happens ever)..
of course you can ask matt pederson if he is willing to part away with his lightning maroon..:hammer:
Nobody here will ever own a lightning clownfish any time soon. The only way you will be able to get one is a huge pocketbook and that you know ALOT of people in the industry. Even if i had the cash i would let it go to the breeders so they can make many more of them for everybody to enjoy at a cheaper cost.
