Lights for a 24g Aquapod

Anyone think a 1x250hqi and 2x24w t5 would be to much for a 24g Aquapod? I'm considering a Maristar light, anyone have any experiences with them?

a 150 would be more than enough for anything you want to keep... imo 250 is a bit of overkill, heat will be a big problem

Most people who use metal halides on their 24g aqua pods use the 150. I would not use anything stronger then the 150watt.

Thanks, I ordered the 24" Maristar 1x150hqi and 2x24w T5. I was thinking the 250 was gonna be to much for such a small tank.

The answer is yes. be sure and give the coral, fish and anyone looking at the tank sunglasses.
