Lights good for SPS?

there is no minimum bulb it a metter of prefince
IMO ity a entry level fixture you would probley need to keep sps up high with it & directley under it
I think you would be better off to go large 6 or 8 bulb
things to look at (1) reflectors dose it have 1 large or 1 per bulb??
( indavigule reflector ! per bulb is best) sorry about the spelling
(2) cooling fans ( for bulbs & ballast) I did'ent see any & it did'ent say if it has any
(3) bulbs who's bulbs come with if any genraly they come you get a low end bulb
IMO keep looking theres alot of people getting out some out there has what you want or need keep looking
in fact there's a guy in lapeer michingan selling a 48" 4 bulb new in the box $125.00 on michiganreefer.com
theres a deal out there somewere

You are pushing it with that fixture. The stock bulbs need to be replaced for sure. Also Aquatic Life fixtures don't have true parabolic reflectors. Their reflector design is kind of bad. The reflectors are contoured to each bulb.

They are better than Current USA stuff but I would only consider them low to mid level fixtures. Change the bulbs and keep the SPS up high on the rocks and you will be okay.

thanks for the replies guys what 4 bulbs should i put in there?

1.
2.
3.
4.

the fixture does have 3 cooling fans and has reflectors around each light

over a 100, 6 bulbs is the minimum for most sps. why dont look at other fixtures like ati or tek?
