What in the world? 1,000 watts seems overkill

I use these they work great. I use the 300w ones. Btw I believe they are rated to mirror the x wattage, but do not actually consume the Watts advertised
We use some AI Prime Fuge's and they work great, but they arent cheap. Looking for a cheaper solution, we got these off Amazon.

They work awesome and grow the chaeto just as well as the AI's. We also tried these, and they were horrible, unreliable, and useless.

I use the same ones sold by 2 other companies. They work great.
I'm not sure, a few hundred probably. Maybe 300? The sump consists of 8 tanks all interconnected with bulkheads. We have chaeto in 4 of them, if I remember correctly. And mangroves in another.
I'm guessing that light will do just fine, and the chaeto could care less if the lights come on slowly or full blast.

Fellow feeders,
I'm going to give this, 75W Red Blue LED light, a try. The thing about it is it's not dimmable. Anyhow, I will provide feedback.

There is no need for dimming them.just adjust the light schedule if need be.
