Can someone provide a link to a thread that describes in detail the balling method. Have heard positive feedback but can not find the method itself.

There's a DIY recipe here. Most ingredients can be obtained cheaply at bulkreefsupply or even epson salts for magnesium sulfate and sodium hydrogen carbonate can be obtained at hardware stores or pool supply. Pieces like, iron, strontium and zinc supplementation are non-essential IMO. You'll need the NaCl free salt though.
