I got this the other day instead of kent phytoplex. I was hoping to get DT's Live Marine Phytoplankton, but the store was out. What's the best stuff out there to feed clams, soft corals and lps. I've been dosing (lightly) kent phytoplex and spot feeding a mix of bloodworms/mysis/cyclopeeze to everything....

I think the DT's, phytoplex and similar products are good for feeding the really small organisms in your tank. Copepods, amphipods and such. I know clams will use phytoplankton. I think corals will benefit in the long run when you have more "bugs" the corals will catch more prey.

LPS usually take larger items like the mysis and stuff you listed.

The frozen concentrated stuff would be more prone to cause nutrient problems in your tank if it is not used immediately by the inhabitants. It will decompose a lot quicker. If you use the concentrate start small and slowly up your doses to avoid a nutrient spike in the tank. Live phyto would be a lot more forgiving.
