List of SPS corals

I have been searching for a list of SPS corals that has the lighting requirement and flow.But cant find that much information. I would like to learn about the different types of sps coral. I currently only have a few basic sps in my tank now and would like to spend some time learning about them and how to ID them for future tanks.

The coral database is a great resource. Veron's work is impressive and helpful no doubt. I think its fair to keep in mind that his data corresponds only to wild individuals. I find that it can be difficult to apply all of the nomenclature and information. The morphology we see in captivity can create confusion with the identification of certain SPS, especially Acropora.

I would recommend using LiveAquaria as a source for requirements in aquaria. While LA isn't perfect, I have found the vast majority of their information and species identifications to be sound. You can get an idea of requirements such as; lighting, parameters, placement etc .
