little red eggs in my chemi-pure bag?

Hard to get a picture, but there was A LOT of red eggs in one of my chemi-pure bags (but not the other?). I found a one small shrimp type creature that was red on the outside of the bag. Anyone have any ideas what this could be? They are kept in the back of my 24nano cube with no light......

ya know back when I had my nanocube up the first time, I remember my chemipure bag got a small tear in it and I had the same thing happen. I assume it is just the material from inside the bag, but I dunno. I thought I was just crazy.

IIRC it's a type of resin.

ok yeah, I assume that using eggs for nutrient absorption wouldn't be a very good business practice!
