Little tiny white bugs all over my glass

Hello,

I have these little tiny white things moving around on my glass. I have no idea what they are. I just added a feather duster and a tree coral from Petco.. I did dip the coral though.. but anyways.. I haven't noticed these bugs until I turned on my white lights today. I also noticed my perfectly healthy yellow tang got ich now too which it did not have before I got this feather duster. I do have a coral beauty from Petco in quarantine for ich, but the yellow tang I just noticed has ich in my display tank. So.. what are these bugs and what do I do with my tang? Do I just add it into the QT tank with my coral beauty? I am not sure if any other fish are affected.. it doesn't look like it so far.

Yes quarantine the yellow tang. Also the little white bugs probably came from the feather duster and tree coral you added. One time I had algae on a plant so I took it out scrubbed it dried it for a few hours and the next day it was covered in algae again so no matter how well you cleaned them it still might have come from the corals.

If your tang has Ich and there are other fish in the tank as well they will need to be removed as well and put through TTM. If you don't, then your DT will not be clean of Ich. While taking one fish out seems like it will solve it, to effectively remove all Ich from the system, all fish (not inverts) need to be removed from DT for 72 days.

Those white bugs look like small amphipods or a copepod. Nothing to be concerned with.

The crypt is something that does need to be addressed. There are several sources on how to rid yourself of this parasite along with the suggestions stated above. it sounds like you're early enough in the process to stop the infection.
