Little toadstool dying!

I have a little gray toadstool (I think.)
It has tiny green things sticking out the top that are like 1/4 a cm. It was just gray, but now that it has the green things I'm wondering if it is dying or trying to come back.

Any tips or help? I'm putting some Coral Accel in every day for nutrients.

What your are seeing is polyp extension. A very good thing. The little green things are the polyps.
