Little white bugs??

After doing a water change last night I noticed the water was a bit cloudy but I figured it was just dust or sand that needed to settle, but today I'm looking at the tank and it's still fairly cloudy. When I look closely I can see THOUSANDS of very tiny white bugs all over the glass and in the water. What are they and are they harmful? Even if they're not harmful what can I do to get rid of them since they're making my water cloudy?

Check here.. Most of the common hitchhikers there

Probably munnid isopods or copepods of some type.. Could also be hydroids or even spirorbid worms..

Its unlikely they are whats making your water cloudy..
Also unlikely that they are harmful..

I'm 99% positive that they are copepods. Any time I look at one of the specs of "œdust" that's making the water cloudy it ends up moving around and being a copepod. So are you sure it's not possible that they're the cause of cloudy water?

Typically cloudy water is a chemical imbalance or bacterial bloom..
I just don't see how its possible for pods to make the water cloudy..

Please post a picture and give more information on the tank.. How long has it been setup,etc... a new tank can surely stay cloudy for days or even weeks if you didn't rinse the sand,etc.. or if a powerhead is stirring up the sand..
