Live rock directly from red sea

I'm living in egypt, cairo. The red sea is 2 hours trip with car. so do you think that going to pick some natural rocks from the red sea, putting them in a tank filled with water then putting them directly in my -still cycling- DT, is it a good idea?

also depends on the quality of the water in the first X feet of water (i have heard 40 feet depth is preferred), to get away from as many pollutants as possible.

but I am sure others will chime in on similar experience in their locations. Dallas doesn't exactly have much reef, or water for that matter

no, it's legal here, & this place is very clean, no boats, not so much swimmers
