Live rock during aquascaping question

Hi All,

While working on aquascaping the rock will need to be out of water for a while.

How long is it safe for the rock to be out?

I use a spray bottle with saltwater if my aquascaping is going to take more then 15 minutes. Most of what you have on your rocks should be fine up to a half hour, but it is always best to error on the side of caution.

That is the best way, but drilling rods sometimes requires that some of the doweling be done out of water.
