live rock form the display to......?

so i just semi re aqua scaped the tank.i removed a couple of rocks and for now just stuck them in the sump.is that what i should do with them? should i put them in the different part of the sump? right now they are in the middle section,where all the detritous collects/settles.should it go in the drain outlet section? any suggestions would be great....i did look but i cant seem to find many pics of sumps with live rock in them.thanks for readong.

Where ever they're least likely to trap wastes is where I'd stick them. I imagine you clean out the middle section of the sump, so putting them there may be a maintenance annoyance.
