hi guys,i have this LR full of red all over and i notice there its some spots where has some little bubbles,they red too,dont have pics,cuz my cam sux lol.but anyone know or have something like that?

Can you blow it off the red substance off the rock with a turkey baster or a powerhead? Is it on the sand anywhere?

If so I'd guess it is cyano......

they are only on the rock,i dont think they will blow off the rock cuz i have the powerhead flowing on the rocks...

Its probably just red coraline which i have all over my rock. I got it from the lfs and its got the bubbly appearance that i think your describing. I believe its fiji, but i could be wrong.

ohh ok, i just notice more of those little red bubbles coming up...

Does the red stuff look rubbery? Because when I first got my live rock it had this red rubbery algae stuff, with small bubbles. If it was pushed it whould pop off.

It went away when i put a pad in the filter to remove the phosphate, and introduced some Cheato i think.

But after the rubbery algae disappeared I had good coraline growth.
