"Live" rock rehab question

Hey everyone, im about to start the journey of curing (for lack of a better word) the rock for my new tank. I have about 100lbs or REALLY old stuff that i have previously cleaned in the driveway with a hose and have let sit dry in the garage for over a year. On top of that i have 50-75lbs that i have come across from the failures of a couple of my friends, also sprayed off and dry in the garage.

My plan is to spray it off again and scrub it well, as i found a black widow nest in the box (lids are a great investment apparently). Then let it soak in a bleach solution overnight, not sure if this needed though.... then rinsed and set to dry completely. After that follow the standardish cooking/curing instructions for months until the parameters are correct.

My questions about the process are as follows,
1. Is the bleach soak necessary?
2. While the rock is cooking, do i use my skimmer or just heaters, flow and water changes?
3. Is there anything i can or should do to head off the P04 ? Thats what i had the most problems with in the my 75G.

Thanks for your time!

All you need is a bin saltwater a heater and a powerhead. Keep it in a dark spot or with a cover. Siphon out the derititus and change some water once a week. To help speed it up if there's crap on the rock just scrub it.
