Live Rock

I am making putting together a seahorse tank! It has bean cycled and I am about to get two gorgonians.

Seeing every ones awesome live rock work inspired me to rework mine to better support seahorses and of course to look awesome.

The dimensions of my tank is 48L,13W, 20T.

I am hoping to pick up more live rock Tuesday and wouldn't mind getting some ideas and suggestions.

Thanks!

I'm a fan of building rock upwards so that it uses more vertical space in the tank. Columns and pillars usually look good as opposed to just building a rock wall, and can help get flow around the aquarium more easily.

I was thinking vertical what's a good way to make stable formations? Just live rock putty or drill holes and put rubaro or pvc threw it?

Maybe a tall tepee with some piles of live-rock in the corners for my brittle and emerald crabs? I realized the rubar would rust, so would wooden plugs work?

We have just 3 very large rocks in our 54 tank...These guys love to lay on their sides and slide under the rocks. To me, it looks like they are hunting pods. I have watched them lay under this one rock we have for a solid hour. Scared the bajeezees out of me..i thought he was stuck.
So be sure to give them caves to explore. I love watching them pop out of the valley.ch

Alright after a few days I got my LR reworked IT LOOKS GREAT. I can post pics in the morning when my diamond watch isn't turning over sand. Hopping he will be satisfied in a few weeks...
