ok i have some questions about live rock.. ive seen some peoples live rock look like their dyin.. what causes this? if someone is havin that issue how do they fix it? on average.. how many times would your live rock change colors.. what determines what color the rock will turn? sorry i just wondered about this..

What do you mean lookes like tis dying? Do you mean turning all brown, if so it could be an algae bloom. If the tank parameters are fine the LR will not die, something would have to "kill it" wether it be amonia, copper, hyposalinity etc.
The ultimate color of the rock will be the color of coraline algea that covers it. Could be pink or green or a mixture of diff colors.

Liverock dying? Liverock will only die out of water or with copper and high ammonia.
It isnt the rock itself it is the life such as bacteria that lives on and in it that die.

Liverock wont change colors like a mood ring, they will gather different colors like purple, green, white, pink, red.
The only time they will change from a certain color to a complete new one is if you let it die, then it can become a differnt color.
