French Tickler Coral

French Tickler Corals, or Sphincter Corals are unique specimens indeed. They resemble a tree in shape, and may be colored white, tan or brown. These csoft corals do not require lighting, but do require planktonic feedings, moderate current, and sufficient trace element leves to thrive. Tickler Coral tentacle will typically recede into the trunk of the coral for the night forming a ball, but will emerge and stretch out when daylight arrives to feed.
