Loc-tite connections

Where is the best place, either locally or online, to get the 1/2" loc-tite connections for return water flow? I'm looking for the tubing, some flare fittings, and the adapters to PVC.

Also, are the special tools the only way to put them together, or just the easiest way?

yes I do think that you mean loc line but whatever the name. I have been curious to find out if there is anywhere cheaper to get these pieces i know GWA sells them but they seem really pricey there (not sure, loc lines might just be expensive)

Yeah the Loc-Line brand is pricey,but they work really good and usually only a few pieces are needed. I agree that the pliers are not usually needed, also if you get them locally you can get exactly what you need and not guess at what you may or may not need.

Thanks! Yes I meant loc-line (I should have known as I kept finding GLUE when first searching ).

Saw them on Marine Depot, Fosters-Smith, and pond supply places. When everything is taken into account they're all pretty much the same price.

Just saw breutus's post that says GWA sells them. I didn't see them last time but wasn't really looking either. They seem expensive everywhere, so GWA is proably not out of line; I'll stop in this week.

You're probably right about just using a few; I was shooting for a whole 6" section per outlet but could probably cut that at least in half.

I got mine from Champion lighting i have some xtra stuff if u need..... i still have 2 MPT AND connector and some nozzels maybe some modular to do 6"........u dont need the pliers enless u got the xtra cash to spend. u can put together by hand.

Also found them a bit cheaper on http://www.modularhose.com/. Make sure to check the quantities; many come as 2- or 4-packs.
