Local Camera Shop anymore?

Your interweb is wrong that place closed down before i left mcintosh...ahaahahahahahahaha

some one was talking about a camera club at one point and I was wondering if they new of the closest camera shop around. Prolly in Ithaca or cuse'...
 
Have you tried to clean it? If not go to there web and search for it. There are instructions on how to clean it there.
 
yea but i need to buy this cleaning kit and everything. Most people says its between 330-40 for a shop to do it so I would rather not take the chance on messing up the sensor and letting a pro clean it...but if it comes to that i guess i will have to.
 
well I did find 2 in the phone book today that look promising but i will call them on Mon and see...lol
 
Tuthil's on the parkway is still there, I think. Haven't been in in a while, but they always seemed to know what they were talking about.
 
I don't believe so, when I was still working for McIntosh back in 07 the owner came to work for McIntosh for photos and sales. Shortly there after I believe he had a going out of business sale and closed up shop. Also there website no longer is functioning. but i'll be driving down that way in bout and hour and ill stop in the plaza just to make sure.
 
Hey guys just encase any one else wanted to know I found a forum and some people in there area who directed me to this place called Beyond the Print that just opened up this year across from the Vestal Public Library on the Parkway. They do sensor cleaning for 40$.
