Local Kessil A360WN owners? / LED Bake-Off

You can also look at the lights passing through the sands and tell the difference. How's the shimmering on both units?

I wish this comparison would have gone a bit further. For one. The Lumia allows you to tweak the colors channel by channel (it has 5). Also, I plan to run them w/out lenses, so the spread is going to be FAR wider than is shown here with the lenses on. That being said, the PAR is likely to be a bit lower after removing the lenses but at the benefit of spread (which IMO is more important).

I plan to post more information on these once my tank is up and running.

I currently have a 6x Lumia build that uses a O2Surplus PCB and Bluefish controller. The Bluefish adds a huge amount of flexibility in regards to controlling the individual channels (not just ONE knob turning all 5 channels together). I think this feature cannot be understated!

Here is a quick demo of my existing build. More to come!

Also just a quick note...only 4 of the 6 LEDs were running (I didnt know this at the time because the other 4 are so dang bright). The colors also didnt really get captured properly by the vid camera. I am hoping to get more accurate pics via stills later.

Nice job, those LDD drivers were complete game changers for the DIY LED market IMO, and being as you can hook up 3 channels (1 on 3 different pucks) makes the cost come down the more you have.

Curious on how the fans adjust to the power output, is this a feature of the Bluefish?
