Local live pods for sale?

I want to make sure that my fuge 2.0 is teeming with goodies. Years ago I tried the refrigerated bottle kind and nothing really coming from it. Does anyone know if any of the Broward stores sell non bottled ones? If not, does anyone here have pods that they would like to share with me??

Ive always had good luck with the Tigger pods you buy. I added them to my tank and see them all over in the refugium now. Floridapets had free shipping yesterday, you can always order them online if thats what you are looking for

do you have pods in your display tank? Look for little white bugs on the glass, especially in the corners or down by the sand. If so they will make there way in to the fuge . If you do have them could syphon some out with airline tubing and pour into fuge. If not someone by you probably has a fuge full of cheato and rubble that could donate to seed your fuge. With no fish or predators in the fuge the population should grow quickly.

Did you decide on a light for the fuge?

Thanks for the replies. I've never had luck with the rigger pods or any of the refrigerated/bottled kinds.

Isn't Miguel in like Homestead? I want to say I remember him being waaay down south.

As far as I can tell, no pods in the display. Tank has been setup for a solid 5-6 years, so it's mature enough. And yes finally decided on a light Got a good deal online for a fluval led, the aquasky.
