I am considering presenting at a local STEM conference in January 2016. I would like to provide the teachers at this conference with a list of resources that they can access for information regarding implementing a marine science program, and saltwater aquariums, in their classrooms.
I am looking for two things here:
1. Websites that you find to be reliable, accurate, and school appropriate for researching marine topics and saltwater aquariums.
2. Individuals who are willing to be resources, via e-mail, or phone if you are brave, for these teachers to reach out to. Perhaps if you have a specialty, like wrasses...ahem... then you could provide an e-mail address that I would have permission to disseminate to science teachers around Arizona. I would assume my session would have between 10-50 teachers, not a lot. Even then, many won't try to implement these projects so I don't think you would suddenly get slammed with questions. If you do feel particularly comfortable with one topic, let me know and I will include that with your contact info.
Thank you in advance!
