Local place to get sand?

I'm tired of the bare bottom look with starboard and am going back to a 1-2" layer of sand. I didn't see the right kind of sand at the HD in lancaster or the Lowes in Reading.

Any local places you guys know of? Are the brands being used still the same as they were a year or two back? I haven't purchased any in a while.

From what I understand they quit making it. I have about 5 bags of it if you can wait until the swap

It's gone. Unless you find somebody (like furman up there) you won't find aragonite sand around here anymore. I did use the silica based stuff for the bottom 3 to 4 inches of my DSB but I would NEVER put it in my DT.

I'm not 100% I can make the swap this year... any chance you ever get to the lancaster area?

I was considering using crushed shells from my local feed company...but I dont' think the particle size is as small as I'd like.

try true value hardware and ask if they have the kolorscape sand it's in a clear bag with blue print. or i have 2 bags $5 each i had a hard time finding it when i try hd and lowes but i found true value carried it regularly andi set my tank up last nov.
