nice lens. I've also got the D50, and I think I've decided on the 105 micro, just don't know if the VR is worth the cost over the non-VR version. Yes, very nice looking shots though!

Thank you amheck and ChinaKat67 I really like taking pics of my tank (Fish and corals). With the macro lens you can't use the VR with closeups 12" or closer. It does work great with action and anything further - very sharp. Just some information on the lens.

plc001 - I have a feeling they do good anywhere which is great, I guess I'll have success with something
