local stores in Niagara NY

I am taking a trip this weekend to a soccer tournament in Niagara falls. so i will be taking a trip to Niagara falls and the Red anchor bar for hotwings. to complete my trip i am looking for a local reef store or someone local to buy some SPS frags from.

Welcome! Saltwater Paradise is nice and A Reef Creation has without a doubt the biggest selection of fish and coral. Both are ~20 mins from the falls.

In my opinion most people from Buffalo will tell you to skip the Anchor Bar, it's not nearly as good as the "local" spots (i.e. Duffs and La Nova, some of the best wings in the world) and mostly hyped up by tourists. Enjoy your stay, the falls is great if you've never seen it. Be prepared to spend some quality time at the LFS, WNY has a pretty hoppin' reef scene!

If you don't feel like driving into Buffalo, Buzzy's in Niagara Falls has decent wings. Their buttery garlic wings are great if you want something other than hot wings.

For an LFS, the closest to the Falls would be Salt Water Paradise.

Thanks for the heads up. I will be dropping some cash in both of those stores. I am glade that you guys told me about the real wings bar instead of the comercial one. My wife seen the red anchor on her food network.

Contrary to what Johnny C said the Anchor Bar is a local place for wings, they opened in 1935 and it is the birthplace of the Buffalo Chicken Wing. But like others have said there are other spots like Duffs and La Nova's, which are also very good.

As you can see everyone has their own opinion on the best wings in town. I'm with JohnnyC on this one, I am not impressed with the Anchor Bar's wings when compared to Duff's. I'm not saying that they are bad wings, just not as good as Duffs, IMHO. There is a Duff's about 2 miles from A Reef Creation.
