I think the Critter has pieces and parts (unless they stopped carrying it). That said, you'll pay an arm and a leg for it in a LFS (the fittings/nozzles aren't cheap anywhere, but the tube itself is much more reasonable elsewhere), so unless you only need a little bit or only need fittings you should just order it online. There are a number of fish websites that sell it if you need other things or buy it straight from the company (modularhose dot com). I do plenty of supporting the LFS's but this product is one thing where they seem to be way off the mark on price.
You might also try PMing waynesworld. I think he bought a bunch for a project at a good price and figured he'd resell/hold on to some of it. I don't know if he'll have the fittings and nozzles you're looking for, but it can't hurt to try.

I knew the Critter had some, but I was looking for 1/2". Most of what they have is larger.

I had Sean @ EBay order me everything I needed. It was much cheaper that way, but I had to wait a few days to get it.
